Our athletes, Makuna Manavhela and Kgoputso Manaleng both won medals at the South African Schools Championships in Paarl last weekend. Both have been included in the Gauteng side for the SA Senior championships later in the month.

Makuna came third in the 100m, in a time of 10,37, and won silvers in the Swedish Relay in which he ran the 200m, and in the 4x100m relay. Kgoputso won silver medals in the 100m hurdles (13,45) and in the 4x100m relay.
