Six of our academic departments received awards for their performances in last year’s matric examinations this week.
They were named the “best in the district” at a District 9 Awards ceremony and certificates and trophies were given to the heads of the relevant departments. Particularly pleasing was the fact that Jeppe was the top school in the important STEM subjects – Mathematics, Physical Sciences and Information Technology.

The subjects, and the educators who received certificates, are: Business Studies (Ms Tserai Ntuli);  Information Technology (Ms Pam Raper); Mathematical Literacy (Mr Hendrik Venter); Mathematics (Ms  Jessica Sutherland); Physical Sciences (Ms Olivia Clarke); Visual Arts (Mr Deon Van Dorp).
