Last week, the Jeppe Boys Pipe Band competed at the Amanzimtoti Highland Gathering which took place over four days last week. The band had a successful tour, placing 3rd for March selection, 3rd for March Strathspey and Real, and 3rd for Drum Corps. The band finished 3rd overall. There were also solo contests, the results of which have not been announced. A big thank you to Mr Olive for accompanying the boys, ensuring they were well prepared and for

the parents for supporting them!

The Pipe band included Pipe Major James Howard, Pipe Sergeant Ethan Bellingan, Jarryd Southee, Bradley Goodsir, and Franco Van Den Burgh, Lead Drummer Remo Sogno, Jessica Powell, Skylar Hide, Katie Merrifield, Langa Busani, Logan Baker, and Dieu Donne Kadamanja.
