The 1st cricket team beat St John’s by one run in a T20 thriller, at St John’s on Tuesday. Jeppe made 154/5 in their 20 overs (Kai van Aardt 32, Keegan Caxeiro 34, Ryan Young 32) and they restricted St John’s to 153/8 in their 20. Luke Cannon (4/19) and Chris Elston 2/18) did the business with the ball.
Back at home, the 2nds also beat St John’s in a T20 game. St John’s were 108 all out in 19.5 overs (Nortje 5/3, Tsotsi 2/18); Jeppe got to 113/3 in 14 overs (Zaid 35, Jordaan 31 not out, Almeida 31). Jeppe won by seven wickets.
