Our cultural department have yet again out done themselves. Last week, they presented Joseph and His Technicolour Dreamcoat as this year’s major stage production!

With bright lights and a full audience, the boys and girls who took the stage deserve their flowers for presenting a fantastic rendition of this world-famous production! Hard work, dedication, sweat and all things colourful, the showcase would not have been possible without the sheer confidence and talent that these students bring to the stage. A very big congratulations to all who got up on stage, showing your peers and the audience that some dreams really can come true.

Thank you to all who were involved in making this production a success. A special acknowledgement to Mr Thurtell and all his hard work and dedication that goes the cultural activities at the school. And a special acknowledgement to the learners involved. You should all be incredibly proud of what you have done giving theatre a new meaning in school environments.

A special thank you to our sister school Jeppe High School for Girls and to the ladies that committed to the production. To Ms Candy-Leigh Wolmarans, without your expertise, vision, and devotion, things would not have run as smoothly and as colourful as they did.

And lastly, to the cast from Jeppe, without your courage and dedication, none of this would have been possible! May theatre live on through your talents!

On the inside of Joseph’s coat are small strips of fabric on which the entire cast wrote their own life dreams. May each and every one of you never stop dreaming.
