Dylan Steenberg was our top Jeppe learner in the 2023 matric exams, achieving nine distinctions. He got them in all of his subjects, including History which he took as an additional subject, and Further Mathematics (Standard). His remarkable performance was a result of his hard work throughout the year, and a particularly outstanding performance in the final examinations.

Dylan has been a thoughtful and intellectually curious learner throughout his high school career, regularly placing in the Top 10 and receiving full colours for Academics in Grade 11. His co-curricular strengths lay in the cultural arena where he achieved full colours in Debating and also participated keenly in Public Speaking and Chess. His contribution to Oribi House was also excellent, where he was a House Prefect during his Matric year.

Dylan will be studying Chemical Engineering at the University of Pretoria this year. We wish him all the best in his next chapter.
