The results of the requested remarking of 2023 Matric exam papers are in, and the already impressive results of the group have got even better.
Nine results were upgraded to distinctions, increasing our record number to 262. In the process, Raees Hassen’s Accounting mark was changed to a distinction, which takes him from seven to eight – a truly remarkable achievement. And Connor Bell now has a distinction in Afrikaans, which he means he joins the group of five who got seven distinctions.
Very pleasingly, three candidates were upgraded to Bachelor passes, taking our university entrance pass rate up from 82% to 83%.
The class of 2024 have some big shoes to fill.
